Since 2020 the studio has looked after the maintenance, restoration and alterations of the Academy’s listed complex on the Aventine.
The National Academy of Dance is housed on the Aventine Hill in a state-owned, listed complex. Since 2020 the studio has provided the Academy with a wide range of technical services, and since 2021 it has acted as its technical manager: overseeing external consultants, drafting periodic reports and coordinating the maintenance of the whole complex.
Main activities
- Design of extraordinary maintenance and restoration works for the complex (2022–2023), funded under the AFAM programme (Ministerial Decree 338/2022)
- Conservation of the main entrance portal (2020)
- Shading tensile structure for the Teatro Grande: feasibility study and permits (2020)
- Acceptance testing of the heating plant and new gym spaces (2020)
- Support to the project manager on evaluation panels for fire-safety upgrading and seismic vulnerability assessment (2020)
